Anniversary product – Houndstooth Bomber Jacket

Like any fashion connoisseurs, we really wanted to try our interpretation of an item from this iconic, timeless pattern. I thought it will be just a one season release, as a Houndstooth Cardigan, but when we took it offline our customers wrote to us about how much they appreciate it, asking us to have it back online.  Is the right combination of the yarn, thickness, density, pattern size and cardigan design that overall have made it a recognizable Ami Amalia piece. This was few years ago, and we still knit the cardigan in custom colors upon request. For this anniversary event I selected the zipper version, with pockets, but it can be knitted as well as a buttoned cardigan.

For the sweater and the jacket – we used New Zealand, cruelty free (mulesing free) , extra fine merino, very soft, and knitted it in several plies, in a jacquard technique, multiplying its softness and marshmallow, cloudy effect.
