The Japanese Marinière

We are excited to introduce a piece that marks an important milestone in the evolution of our brand.

We purchased our first knitting machine in 2019, with the support and encouragement of our community.

Today we have two knitting facilities, one in Oradea, with German technology, and one in Deva, with brand new Japanese technology, with a total of 16 knitting machines, technology that allows us to knit statement pieces for our customers, not only through their design, but through their sustainability and the wellness they bring to the wearer.

The Japanese Marinière” is the very first WholeGarment model produced with the new Japanese technology.

The Japanese WholeGarment knitting technology — an advanced manufacturing process that allows an entire piece to be knitted seamlessly in a single operation – brings comfort to the wearer to another level, whilst also being the essence of what “zero waste” and sustainability can be in fashion through responsible design and manufacturing.

The result is a garment with exceptional comfort, a cleaner silhouette, and a remarkably light feel. Without traditional seams, the fabric moves more naturally with the body, creating a refined wearing experience that is both effortless and sophisticated.

100% Portuguese cotton.

While cotton is a bit more resistant to higher water temperatures and washing than wool, it can also be washed at temperatures of 30oC – 40oC and in shorter washing cycles, or even by hand. This reduces energy consumption and ensures the clothes retain their as-new look.

Machine or hand wash with mild detergent for natural fibers – please read about ”COTTON CARE” instructions here, or contact us for more information.
