Yak Hygge

Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with the feelings of wellness and contentment.

Last year, when we discovered this yak yarn we couldn’t believe its softness, softer than the cashmere, like cotton candy, spun silk and cashmere. The yak wool has been used by nomads in the Tran-Himalayan region for over a thousand of years. It is a sustainable yarn, with amazing properties – a true gift from the nature.

We used a relaxed, long cardigan design for it, and it became a sought after item for its truly Hygge mood inducing qualities.
