Return policy
This policy regulates exclusively the commercial returns offered by AmiAmalia and does not affect the legal right of withdrawal, which is regulated separately in the dedicated section. For the products eligible according to this policy, the client may request return within 14 days from receipt.
The return policy applies exclusively to standard, non-personalized and unmodified products according to the client’s requests. Products made to order or personalized are regulated distinctly below.
The products may of course be tried on, but must be returned in the same condition in which they were received: the products must not show any sign of wear, persistent smells/perfumes or to have been washed. The returned products must also have all original labels intact.
Products made to order and personalized:
Please note that the products ordered through our BESPOKE section (made to order or personalized) are NOT subject to return.
Our products may be knitted in any colors you wish (other than those presented on the website for the respective product), with the following terms and conditions:
We will request an additional fee for personalization, and if you decide to return the product the acceptance of the return is conditioned by the payment of a fee for bringing back to the commercial state of 80€.
Products made in a color combination chosen by the client are considered personalized products.
Letters — We will knit the chosen letter without additional fee. We can also knit the desired symbol or signs, however if you decide to return the product we will charge/deduct from the value of the return a fee of 80€.
Size — We can adjust the size of the product to the desired measurements. We will not charge an additional fee for changes within +/- 5 cm per parameter, but if the desired length exceeds 5 cm, we will apply a yarn fee of 40€ for merino yarn and 120€ for cashmere, yak, alpaca etc.
Once a product is modified to a personalized size, if you decide to return it we will charge/deduct from the value of the return a personalization fee of 80€.
Adjustments and product characteristics:
We will do everything possible to knit according to the measurements, however please note that natural yarns are flexible, each color behaves and knits differently. The knitting industry has an accepted tolerance of +/- 1-2 cm for each measurement parameter, and in coats, dresses and skirts the length will modify through wear.
After performing two size adjustments, the product is considered definitively accepted and is no longer eligible for commercial return.
Promotional campaigns:
During SALES CAMPAIGNS (% OFF, ready made products, same day shipping etc.), for the purchased products eligible for return, Ami By Amalia S.R.L. offers exclusively the option of exchange or online credit, as an additional commercial facility:
Product exchange: choose another item. If you opt for a product with a higher value, you pay only the difference.
Online credit: you may receive online credit for the paid value of the returned product, usable for future purchases in our online shop.
Manufacturing defects:
We strive to avoid manufacturing errors, but if you receive the product in anything other than perfect condition, please contact us immediately and no later than 14 days from receipt. For the agreed repairs and alterations we will send you the necessary information to ship the products back for correction at our expense.
